As is, these speakers are one of the best products for their price on the market, coming in under $100. The only real criticism of these car speakers was that, if you do not box them, they can be difficult to produce their fullest sounds. In these cases, you will definitely need an amplifier to produce the best sounds. However, it's often advisable to box these speakers anyway so this criticism is fairly small.
